Scanning is now a very important feature in the modern ( multifunctional printer ) MFP
With new MFP Photocopiers, scanning is either a standard feature or an option.
Most MFP Photocopiers allow you to scan in Colour or Black & White
Where do the scanned documents go?
- This feature allows the operator a number of different options
- Scan to email, Scan to folder, or Scan to USB memory stick.
Scan to email.
- This allows the operator to scan multiple pages to an email address. The document is simply placed on the automatic Document Feeder
- and is scanned at speeds of up to 160 pages per minute and sent as an attachment to the chosen email address.
- The format of the document can also be selected PDF, JPEG, or TIFF etc.
Scan to Folder
- This allows the operator to scan documents to a folder, this folder can either be a private folder where documents are sent to one individual or to a shared folder where a number of people are allowed to access the scanned documents.
- The format of these documents can also be selected PDF, JPEG, or TIFF etc.
Scan to USB
- This allows the operator to scan documents directly to a memory stick.
- The format of these documents can also be selected PDF, JPEG, or TIFF etc.
